Natural History

We went to the American Museum of Natural History today where we saw the new "Extreme Mammals" exhibit and the IMAX movie "Dinosaurs Alive!" for the second time. The highlight of the exhibit was the extinct "Batodonoides Vanhouteni", the world's smallest mammal (picture courtesy of the AMNH Rotunda magazine).

On the return trip I also noticed a most curious striped tree growth.
