Christmas at home in Hoboken

After an exciting "sleep" countdown Pierce was thrilled for the big day to finally arrive! We enjoyed a relaxed day at home watching an eclectic assortment of old movies: Monty Python's The Holy Grail (a big Pierce fav), Mary Poppins and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Pierce was thrilled with all of his presents and added some new stuffed animals to his burgeoning and unusual collection: an Ostrich and a Chinchilla. We enjoyed a breakfast of scrambled eggs with latkes topped with sour cream and caviar and Mimosas. Breakfast was inspired by my favourite Brooklyn based cooking blog Smitten Kitchen. As most of you know when I'm not knitting I'm cooking and Smitten Kitchen is a great source of inspiration and competition much to Greg's delight!
